Preparing and anticipating
Preparing and anticipating how and what will happen during your presentation is very important in order to make sure your presentation goes smoothly and accurately. There are a few different ways to prepare for a setting, where you will be speaking in front of people.
The first is to give yourself some time before your presentation around 10 to 15 minutes to make sure all of the equipment you will be using is set up and working to your liking. During this time, you can also rehearse and refresh your mind of certain points you want to touch on or a big word you want to pronounce correctly.
Giving yourself some time to prepare can also give you confidence and peace of mind going into the real presentation. When it comes to answering questions about the topic you are talking about it is always a good idea to anticipate what type of questions will be asked by the audience and be well educated on that topic prior to your presentation.
Knowing your audience is also a great part of being prepared and answering questions.
I believe preparing and anticipating is one of the most important aspects to presenting due to how much more composed and confident you will be after knowing your information, audience, and equipment.
