Nonverbal communications can be just as important as traditional, communicating if you know how to utilize it effectively. Although in online meetings, utilizing nonverbal communication, communications can be more difficult or looked past. A few ways you can still use your body language and setting to portray whatever message you are talking about are posture, facial expressions, and wearing appropriate clothes.

Posture, even though you can only be seen through a camera, can still portray a message to the audience. sitting up attentively can portray confidence and professionalism to your listeners. Your facial expressions have to match your message in order to make it easier to understand and genuine. Smiling when appropriate can also light up the mood to ease your nerves if needed. Lastly, wearing the appropriate clothing, depending on what type of meeting it is can go a long way. For example, try not to wear pajamas to a job interview, even though I am sure it is tempting while being at home.
